Hey all. I have a friend that is worried because a sp is threatening to testify against him for soliciting.
They have his licence plate and video survalance of him doing a transaction in a car date situation.

Does anyone have any experiance in this matter?
What is the worst that can happen?

Why would a sp do such a thing? Do the police pay them or something?
It's to bad because he is a hard working clean record guy.

thx.

We went and checkedout the site.
Where he was parked, the camera saw the money transaction and the deed like the SP stated. There is also a no stopping sign posted and says,'camera survalence, all plate #'s are recorded'
He said the SP directed him to park right there, and asked for the interior light to be on during the money transaction.
I'm just like,... wow. She knew what she was doing.
So, anyone know what the athorities could do to him with this evidence? Clean record, familey, career, rarely ever did this before. He's scared.

Tell her to piss off. If he gets tagged for soliciting, she gets tagged for soliciting, isn't she on camera as well ? There is no sound to this video so the money exchange could have been for anything, as could any conversation that took place. If she did go to the police and they did anything at all about it, it would probably be a phone call to say, see what being a horndog can get you.

@the Meat Market!!!lol
it is a red herring for her to threaten him with "testifying" and no, police do not pay sp's to rat out clients.

she is also guilty of the same crime so she cannot "testify" against him. this sounds like an extortion attempt and his best bet is to tell her to fuck off.

if he gives her anything she will escalate.

what she is doing is highly illegal and if he is worried he could have her charged with extortion- where a person threatens (real or percieved threat) someone to make them comply in action or with money.

she doesn't know his name or address and having the licnese plate doesn't help her at all. private citizens cannot access names attached to license plate numbers. if she were to contact police they would likely laugh at her. the police have so much work to do and are completely underfunded. the chances that they will go through the trouble of finding the security video, investigating his license plate, court...are very slim...to none actually.

charging and investigating a pooner is too expensive and takes alot of time. not going to happen unless the charges are part of a larger investigation. think about it, pooners only get busted if a larger "sweep" style operation is underway due to community complaints.

in my opinion, this type of behaviour is terrible for our industry. it breaches the trust and confidentiality between pooners and sp's and makes everyone a little more untrusting of each other. if you like, i wouldbe happy to have a conversation...ehemm....with the sp in question. i could explain why what she is doing is wrong...?

anyway, if you would like you can pm me with any questions and please tell your friend not to worry. you can also call pivot legal or legal aid an get confidential advice.

hope that helps a bit and please tell your friend not to be afraid of this woman.

Are you serious??
Your friend stopped his car where it says your license plate is being RECORDED?? What part of that HINT did he not get? Did he at least SMILE for the camera when he handed over all that cash?
Your friend is either the hardest-assed pooner I have ever seen or (more likely) dumm and dummer.

Tell your friend to go to the cops (preferably with a lawyer) and file a complaint alleging that he is being extorted and blackmailed by a street whore and her pimp. Make sure he explains how he is scared for his safety and that he can not afford to pay her. She will at the very least get harassed a bit by the cops and her testimony will become useless !
