Maybe someone can enlighten me to what the reasoning is behind certain indy SPs constantly changing their contact info. Usually it is their phone number, but often it's their email as well. I can see it happening at places that host visiting ladies (the individual visiting lady having their own phone number), but why would a local who is trying to build up their clientele change their phone number every week or so?

I like to give everyone the benefit of a doubt and assume that if a provider is willing to exchange sex for money it doesn't automatically mean they use said money for drugs. In fact, given the opioid overdose stats for BC you're more likely to see more traditional blue and white collar individuals having drug problems.might be that they are trying to avoid their dealer
To be honest the entire industry is fascinating to me. My last visit, some months ago, with an SP I spent more time talking to them about "the business" than actually getting down to business.
Constantly changing numbers could have many many reasons, from stalkers to cell providers to Internet bots to everything in between.
