So weird, bbbj and gfe was definitely a big thing in LA, twenty years ago.

It wasn’t in Vegas. Never heard a thing about bbbj or kissing at the few agencies I worked at or from any of the clients or girls I made friends with while I was in Las Vegas for 3 months.

I started hearing about gfe when I worked at Swedish touch (2007) Girls sat around and gossiped about what so and so was doing at a different agency. Bbbj was known as French gfe when I went independent. I never offered any kind of gfe when I first went independent. And I expanded my massage and kink options. So maybe every 3rd appointment has some kind of gfe elements in it.

Biggest change for me was in the 1990s there were so many spas and pretty girls downtown, now only Swedish Touch is left downtown with Great Pharaoh. I’ve been in the industry for a little over 15 years and the way I run my business is quite a bit different now than back then. Part of that is confidence in myself and better boundaries, which means what I offer can be more from a place of genuine enjoyment.

I’ve always been Indy and always offered gfe/bbbj as part of my services, but the types of clients I was attracting didn’t always align with my comfort levels. These days I seem to attract clients who are much more in alignment with me and that makes for a much more intimate experience all around 🥰

the going rate was much higher or 3x the daily min. wage so $600 was min. for basic.
the rate is too low so nobody willing to work for so little and risk. they want to make as much money as fast as possible. not 9-5 job.
they have to pay 50% to house in some place some place pay less and there is not much business. if its $1000/hour. very few clients will spend $3000/night
for their time. Then you have the legal cost just not worth it in the business.
if you add inflation they are making 50% less than 20 years ago. many are doing this as side hustle. Many have school and regular jobs and this is just for extra money. They don't make enough money and not enough customers willing to pay $1000/hour for their time. Some massage places they have no customers for entire shift and don't get paid if too much competition.

Hello Eveyrone. I am a new member here and have been reading all the escort reviews on this site. Apart from some fakes and some bad experiences the majority of the reviews I have read describe an incredible intimate and intense experience especially with SPs from the agencies. I tried this lifestyle about 15-20 years ago and really never had a great experience. Nothing like what is described now like shower together, DFK, passionate sex, cuddling etc. The ones I saw 20 years ago were very in/out eye on the clock not much talking interactions even with higher priced SPs. High volume doesn't mean lower quality, but it does require more energy and hopefully they have robust immune systems too! I would never judge the quality of an SP based off of volume nor rate alone unless it's suspiciously low. Definitely do your research so you can make the best choices for yourself.

I would see more clients if my health/body would allow me! 🥹 I hit a wall really quickly when I used to have higher volume, and it resulted in 1-4wks off each time depending on the severity of cold/respiratory illness. Getting pneumonia was my last straw. I was told that I wasn't a fit for this work due to my inability to take on such high volume.

Now, I make more overall than when I had higher volume because the constant time off was impacting my income. I see much fewer clients, have the autonomy to spread out my bookings, and spend more time on beauty maintenance and my own health 🥰 Indie work on my own terms was the right fit for me.

It was the number of exposures, particularly because I do DFK. I picked up colds even working only 1-2 days a week back then.

I’ve been around as long as you & I started out as a Gfe provider as well because like you it came naturally to me & I don’t know how to be fake or mechanical. It’s not in my nature. The level of scamming going on right now is unreal. Also other advertising platforms are being over run by fake ads and OF ads which is causing poor visibility for independent providers.

Anyone starting out with no track record will have a tough time. There are so many scammers that customers are playing it safe and sticking with known providers.

I agree. It’s unfortunate to think of how it could be more difficult for new girls.
