What's the best destination in this area of the world these days?
Looks like there is a few options to choose from.
But, overall, what's the best pick?
When considering things such as prevalence of HIV, crime, overall cost of services/accommodations and airfare, quality of the women etc.
And I hope ladyboys are not in supply in this part of the world....very much something I do NOT want to encounter. I'm largely not interested in parts of SE Asia due to this factor.

I think it's asinine to cross off an entire continent due to ONE gender/group predominant in only a single country and can be easily identifed and avoided. I've travelled all over SE Asia and it's only in Thailand where the Ladyboys 'sometimes' exist in the same red light areas for straight people. In every other country they are basically separated.

But to your question above, Medellin or Bogota Colombia is probably most popular sexpat area in South America, followed by Rio Brazil, Dominican Republic, and Costa Rica
