I remember seeing a thread about sp.'s who will do bbbj but will shy away from dfk. I get the reasons why. But recently I saw a fellow pooner who only receives cbj's rather than bbbj's, but he'll go for daty. Don't know reasoning? I know some guys wanna play safe but if you for for daty it defeats the purpose, unless theres a good reason why?

Assuming that it in this case it isn't just that it happens that his favourite SP or SPs only offer CBJ and he doesn't care, one reason could be that he believes it is safer to see SPs who don't offer BBBJ. Perhaps he only sees SPs who don't offer BBBJ to any clients. He might feel that they are lower risk in general, since it is easier for the SP to contract something through performing BBBJ than through receiving DATY. If, however, the SP does offer BBBJ but he chooses CBJ, then it might be that he believes receiving BBBJ to be riskier than performing DATY, (it's my understanding that chlamydia and gonorrhea can be transmitted more easily from the throat of an infected partner to a partner receiving BBBJ than to the throat of someone performing DATY on someone with a genital infection, but that's just from my research and it might be a good topic to ask the health nurse about in that section of this site).
Personally I prefer BBBJ and I do enjoy doing DATY. Throw in some awesome DFK and the SP has BBB's full attention :nod:
If the SP prefers to do CBJ then I naturally go along with it since it's her health and her choice. I'm finding that BBBJ is more the norm with CBJ being optional with most providers at least this applies in Vancouver.
