The amount of catfishing out there is unbelievable. For escorts, while I don't agree with it, I get it. Perhaps a lady doesn't want to be found out so rather than use her real photos she uses "similar" pictures. Or she is less than attractive and hopes to con guys into staying once they arrive at the door. However, catfishing on dating sites I don't get. The whole purpose of dating sites is to meet someone and I think people expect to meet the person in the photos. What can possibly be gained by catfishing on a dating site?

Meaning of course my height and weight.....I've never perceived myself to be seven feet tall, as was a rumour going around here a few years back.
I am simply who I say I am.....to give someone a false impression, when you intend to meet is a recipe for failure.
I had a friend who was expecting a Meagan Fox lookalike .....and was met in his driveway by a rather more mature lady, that was as big around ,as she was tall.
Now Steve being who he is....decided to get naked with her anyways....until her artificial leg came off.
Even Steve has his lines he won't cross....which neither one of us knew existed till that night.
So I guess the moral of the story is....if your Catfish shows up limping while she waddles up your driveway, maybe you should have read between the lines a little better.
