So I was catching up on the new for the past week, saw 2 headlines that popped out'
1. Conrad Black's pardon from Trump.
2. Alabama lawmakers pass anti-abortion bill, making it tougher for women to get an abortion and jail for doctors up to 99 years if they perform an abortion. The republican majority were mostly men. 29 states have passed tougher anti-abortion bills. People for abortion say its a challenge to the ROE vs WADE (US Supreme Court), which republicans and Christians have been trying to eliminate since abortion was allowed by the US Supreme Court in the early 70s.
For the Black case I think Donald is just trying to help his rich friends.
For the anti abortion law, I think that Americans can no longer separate Church from State. One of the premises of forming the US was the separation of church and state. This if anything is/was the American biggest strength in the forming of its country. Now its killing and ripping itself apart over religious intolerance/bigotry.
