The tipping thread got me thinking about how we pay.
I prefer to pay cash for a lot of things. It makes me realize what things cost, is fast and efficient and is accepted everywhere. Or so I thought.
Lately, many places only take credit, debit, Venmo, Apple pay or other forms of electronic payment.
I was under the impression that cash couldn't be refused.
Is it legal for vendors to refuse cash?
