Recently watched utube video on cars that only have a touchscreen to change/do things with the car.
In 2017 most car manufacturer s had at least one fully automated car, with change settings only to be found a touch screen attached to the car's computer.
Inlcuded:
1. Windows/door handles
2. Windshield wipers
3. Heater/A/c controls
4. radio and apps for music controls (eg volumne and bass, treble, etc)
5. Headlight control (on, off, low, high, fog)
6. Gear shifter, Reverse, nuetral, Forward, drive, park, etc)
7 Brake conditions (antilock, emergency break choice)
8 bluetooth phone
While driving trying to access a screen on a touchscreen is time consuming and takes your eyes off the road.
The answer most manufacturers are taking is to put physical knobs for things that need access to immediately....
