VANCOUVER/CKNW(AM980) - Vancouver Police say a daylight shooting inside a Vietnamese noodle house may be gang-related.
Around 1:25 this afternoon two Indo-Canadian men were ambushed while they were having lunch. They have both been transported to emergency with undetermined injuries.
Constable Tim Fanning says the 25 and 32 year old victims are known to police and it appears the shooting was not a random incident. "It looks like you know, just a targeted attack, but it had no relationship to the neighbourhood or the restaurant."
The shooter is believed to be an Asian man in his 20s. He escaped in a silver, four door vehicle with another suspect who was driving.
