Calgary has been such a quiet place for the past few years, it seems like lots of new faces are popping up and old ones are quieting down... including myself. although I'm not old! my 23rd bday is coming up, but here is the thing.... i have got a new job that is taking up most of my day.. all weekdays in fact.
Now, is this a bad thing when an SP gets a full time job? I love playing and having fun... but credit, tax reasons... you know.

What do you think? Taking up all my time and all.

response?

It is up to you if you want to continue being an SP while having a full-time job. The main thing you have to do is time management. That is something only you can control.

One advice: you can still work as a SP on a part-time basis while still working your full-time job. If one job doesn't work, you still have the other job to support you.

In addition, It's not a bad thing for an SP getting a full time job. It can be a stepping stone to a better career outside of SP'ing in the future. In any future career outside, you'll have to show some work experience in your resume to future employers and working as an SP is not exactly something you want to put in your resume or job application.

Besides, a full-time job may train you in some professional skills you can use in the future.

I'm not so sure about that...i'd definitely bring in the candidate for an "interview" at least.
Really?

In what sense, you're not so sure about?

You'd definitely bring in the candidate for an "interview", but how about the employers? Are you certain they'd definitely do it?

Please let me know so that I can try to get a job with them.

well, my resume is obviously somewhat false, however I managed to pull through with my persuasive attitude and wit.

It's a fun job with lots of young people and a fun environment, although I HIGHLY doubt my alternate lifestyle will be discovered. Discretion is of course, of utmost importance to me in all aspects of life!

It will be fun working normal days just like everyone else ;) but the only thing I will feel different about is when my phone rings and I have to say "no sorry, I have to work then." I'll definately miss my close friends in the less frequent encounters, but you know, there are so many of us who hold more than one job. Why should I be any different?

I appreciate the value of a dollar, perhaps not moreso than those of you who spend it all on me (wink wink nudge nudge)

Well ladies and gentlemen, lets see how this little adventure takes hold on Claire's new lifestyle (not so rich and famous)

I will be open for weekends only! Ack! But this weekend is Thanksgiving... spend it with my family.... I'll see you all on the flipside ;)

Ciao!

New Careers

I think it is a good thing when an SP gets a 9to5. My gf is an SP by her choice...and we certainly dontt need the money...but she has decided to take a straight job...its only part time...but she wants to begin to develop her CV. A great strategy I think....It will assist her in moving on at some future point. Anyway...you are a hot looking girl...and I wish you the best of luck in your new career.
