Well, he got himself banned for a couple of weeks, and it looks like he hasn't come back.
His ban has been over for a week. But the Canucks have won, what 5 in a row? I guess he is waiting for them to lose, before his return. :D

I hope this weather cooperates, I am bbq'ing for the game.

It looks like Sundin being out has had an impact: having to juggle the lines and messing with the chemistry during the play-offs has to suck. The Nucks looked confused in the first period and the Blues are hitting anyone near the puck.

I never expected the Canucks would be up 3 games to none... This really must be killing BJhunter and hunsperger.

LOL, I wish I could see BJHunter's face right now.

The "sweedish meatballs" are getting it done right now, the PK has been amazing and Luongo has been solid.

Don't jinx the thread! It's so much nicer talking hockey with the fans, not the trolls! Kariya should be back for the next game and he was looking really good during practice. Tuesday could be a scary game!

Good point, let's keep the trolls at bay.

Actually, I'm looking forward to Tuesday's game. It's going to be another tough game no doubt but I smell a sweep! ;)

Maybe, but the series is all but over. (Has any team come back from a 3-0 deficit before?)
Only two teams in NHL history have done it. So the odds are heavily against the Blues.

We are definetley going to wrap this one up, if not in 4 then most likely 5, tonights was close but luongo saved the day as usual. I don't think sundin being injured will make a big difference, but if we win in 4 then the time before the second series could hurt us, having a week or so off waiting for the other teams to finish up.

It makes a huge difference in the way that every line except the Sedin line gets changed to fill the gap he has left, which alters the chemistry they had before. It also takes defensive focus off of him and puts more on Kessler.

Sedins should shine against this Blues defense. No question about it. Defensively they have Mike Weaver as their #4 dman. No knock on him but he barely cracked the line up for us. When we get chicago, that's going to be a lot tougher for the Sedins (who see's San Jose being able to get out of this one?).

I can't believe it's 3-0... still Kariya must be coming back game 4 and you can't help but think that will give them enough of boost. Their offense is scary enough as is. Whether he'll be truly effective remains to be seen.

The only thing that really changed was between the 2nd and 4th... Rypien or Hansen. Hansen dropped the ball, sure he was sitting out but he's gotta be ready no matter what for a guy in his position. This will open the door for Pyatt's return (maybe like a game 5 if necessary)

They should hold out Sundin and see if he is ready for Game 5. If we are lucky enough to sweep - the rest will be good as there is a lot more hitting and rough stuff in this series (compared to the other ones). More time to rest but the long layoff is not always a good thing.

Problem is that Pyatt and Hansen have not played in a while and it will take some time to get the lines in sync.
