If he can survive the 10 min in Chicago on tues and thurs they may have a chance but I dont see it happening. Either way the next round will be the end for either team. I hate Detroit but for a group of old farts the look good.

I'm still predicting the Canucks in 6. They had a bad night last night. A really bad night. They can't afford to do that again, but I really don't think they will. So far this series has been one team playing well while the other team just can't seem to get anything going, and then they switch. I think from here on in we'll see both teams playing better, and it'll be a tight race, but the Canucks have the depth to get it done.

yea I didn't see the canucks playing all that well, and I don't feel they were forced into it either... they just weren't skating. Kesler was pretty invisible. Luongo really didn't seem all that into the game either. That shortie was a huge let down. They're not going out for any hits like they did against st. louis.

They shouldn't be using Salo as an excuse either.... I think they just got two pretty easy goals and they let off the gas and let them back into the game.

Salo should be a HUG excuse! Not because of Salo himself, but because defensive pairings are split up causing chaos between line-mates. Chemistry in this game is paramount for success. Changing pairings, making them play on their off side, not having your partner be where you are used to them being, that causes huge turmoil for the rest of the team.

Man, this defense has been together how long now and they can't play with each and every one of them? The only real problem is that they'll put Ossi in and he hasn't really played with anyone. I just want to see some huge hits in game 3 cause we haven't really seen that yet from the back end. Too much chasing rather than dictating.

Such a shame we lost game 2 the way we did... we just seemed to think it was going to be an easier game than it was. Game 3 is going to be a really boring game I think, with the Canucks playing their standard road game and frustrating the Hawks while taking the win ;)

From the Province newspaper....

<font size=3>Chicago wins series 4-2 over Vancouver<font size=2>

All things considered, It's probably just as well that none of you Bozos were able to come up with an original idea for a wager. Now I've only got ONE BJ to perform while wearing a Hawks jersey.

Salo wasn't a factor, never will be, for a soft marshmellow, for the canucks' success or failure. This one dimensional player, only effective on the power play, and yet, he was marginal in this series...just goes to show, when the playoffs count, he, along w/ the Sedins, Luongo, Bieksa, aren't playoff performers.

Our best didn't play as well as the Hawks' best; simple as that!

How about if the Hawks win I have sex with you. If the Canucks win, you have sex with Hubba.

See, Trackie is gay. Probably saw that Canucks logo of the orca, and he wanted to plunge that orca near Luongo's starfish ;)

Bet you're thinking that Luongo's still the best goalie in the league, huh? is that your dream?

Or the Canucks will hoist the Cup? That would prob give you a hard on...you know it'll never happen...with bandwagons like you, you're cursing the Nucks...just jump off the bandwagon when you push it over the Lions Gate bridge ;)

Exactly. Another postseason flop in the same leaque as SJ.
Gotta love it! Appreciate seeing the dejection in the CHs, hopefully this is a learning lesson, not to count the chickens before they hatch.

the Traackstars, Zeroxs, Hubbas, Argghs, JF096, etc. will all vehemently deny it, but they were so giddy after the sweep in Round 1, they were looking forward to the conference final; some ppl were choosing between Detroit or Anaheim!!! Only a CH thinks that way, serves those bandwagons a punishing lesson for having unrealistic expectations.

They deserved what they got; and the Nucks too, also for their moronic, idiotic defence-less play against a speedy Hawks team.

A flop, yes, in the minds of CHs, but to me, and any realistic nucks fan, we were fortunate enough this season to get where we are. Making stupid signings like Sundin, who did not make any iota of a difference in the regular season or in the playoffs, just shows Nucks' mismanagement of $5million, and thank goodness we didnt' give up any draft picks or pucks to get this over-the-hill Swedish Cheese.
