I hardly think the Kings are a soft team, Seems like the whole team is pretty big except for Richards and Martinez.

Gotta tip your hat to the Kings, they've played like the team that wants it more. I was really dissapointed in the reaction by the 'nucks after Henrik got clobbered.A little face wash by Bieksa & that was it? If they did that to a bruins top guy there would have been a huge dog pile.
I also think there crazy if they try to bring Daniel back in this series, especially one were there down 3-0.

they are bringing daniel back as he's cleared to. that may save canucks one game if daniels performs like he is during the season.

Its a huge risk to bring back a player from a concussion type injury when there are questions about his full recovery. I think its almost a recipe for a career ending injury given that he will have a "cross hairs" put on his back and given the in ability or unwillingness of this team to stick up for their marquee players. Take a look at the hit that Henrik took and the pathetic consequence that followed by Bieksa. Was he trying to cuddle with the guy or make a point that you can't go after our goal scorers?

Seems the risk pays out. Daniel's back, lots of scoring chances. Canucks is back to where they should be, but not there yet. Close. And they avoided a sweep!

Rebuild??
Are you being serious? I'll assume not.

But they definitely need to fill a couple of holes. That useless fukr Kassian wasn't even playing for the last bit. I really don't think it's too early to say that trade was a mess.

It'll be real interesting to see what comes of this in the off season.
I was at tonight's game, and glad I got in for the last game of the season, but unfortunate they couldn't pull through.

Congrats to the Kings!

Now lets move some dead weight:

Bye Bye Loungo, Kesler, Higgins, Boothe, Raymond, Lapierre, Kassian, Ballard...

So long AV and MG...

The Kassian trade was fucking stupid - AV never liked Hodgson, who will be a 30 goal guy forever. At the end of the day, Quick won them the series.

Mike Gillis really rolled the dice on the Hodgson-Kassian trade and seriously lost. He has to take some responsibility on that one. Cody Hodgson could well be a 40 goal scorer for the Sabres in years to come.

Is Kesler a free agent? He's a good player but had 24 less points than last year. I'm sure a lot of SP's like his abs either way.

I think both AV and MG will be back.

It seems that #35 and #22 got into the series too late. If they had both been in from the start we would still be in this thing.

Duncan Keith cost the Canucks their season....

congrats to LA, it did seem they were better prepared at whatever Canucks threw at them.
disappointed how Doughty was able to come in untouched on that first goal, cmon Ballard, lean on the mfucker!
but nothing Schneids could have done on Stoll's shot, too perfect. anyway, don't be surprised if Kes' mug is on your morning
milk carton, what happened to this guy?

bring TMac as bench boss next season? it will be an interesting summer for this team indeed.
enjoy the p.o. everyone.

I don't blame Kesler one bit. He slumped at a bad time but he is a solid 25 goal per year type of player....possibly 30. He is not a 40+ per year goal scorer. His 2010-11 season was an aberration. People calling for AV's head have no clue...as if another coach could have gotten more out of that team.

AV has been out-coached two years in a row - it's about time for a change.
Sure blame the coach. That is usually the easiest solution. IMHO AV would be on a plane to Montreal to coach the Habs five minutes after being terminated here. They NEED a good bilingual coach who can stand the heat in Montreal.

Problem lies within their culture of making pretty plays vs grinding it out in the goal area. Look at LA's goal in regulation last night. Countem four Canucks watching the LA Goal go in. Nobody put the guy on his ass. That includes D Men and Forwards. Any other team would have taken a penalty and cross checked the LA team anytime they got near the goal. Our guys are just too nice.

Team needs an injection of Nasty to their game or this is as far as they will ever get.
