Canucks Extend Alain Vigneault's' Contract

Vancouver Canucks President and General Manager Mike Gillis announced today that Head Coach Alain Vigneault has agreed to terms on a contract extension.

Not a bad move in my opinion. Vigneault is a good Coach and has done nothing but win since he arrived in Vancouver. His record is very impressive and even though he has not yet won a Stanley Cup, I don't really think anyone can blame him for this. I still think that if the Officials did their job last year in the Finals and not let punks like Big nose Marchand get away with the garbage they did perhaps Vancouver would have a title.

In Vigneault's 6 seasons, the Canucks made the playoffs 5x and had got the President's Trophy 2x. Was there any NHL coach in Canada that performed better during the last 6 years ??
