I am a season ticket holder. This was a very exciting game to be at. Hockey is a game of seconds and inches. Anything can happen. That's what makes it a great sport. The goaltending tonight was amazing which is why there were no goals. Both teams exchanged chances all night.

I don't know what game you were watching. Go watch the Pens if you want goals...oh yeah they're out.

I believe.

Was watchin the hockey game at a packed bar and most of the peop where falling asleep. Im not a season ticket holder so i guess i dont know much about hockey. Just found it hard to stay awake through 3 periods of this stuff. No wonder the american hockey market has problems attracting new fans. Glad there wasnt 2 overtime periods tonight it would have sucked big time

Unless canucks win the cup..... this boring style of play isnt worth watching in my opinion. The devils & Dallas had superstar defensemen, good players and awesome goaltending during their cup years. We have a great goaltender with some above average players. Defense wins championships but you still need some extraordinary talent...which we lack. We'll probably get into the playoffs every year but wont win the cup with this group. Only advice while watching the canucks is drink lots of coffee cause you'll need it:eek:

defense wins championships
if playing this way gets a Cup then i'm all for it and it wasnt that bad

It's fine that we need more offensive talent but we have a salary cap. Who on the Nucks would you get rid of besides Marc Chouinard? Maybe Bullis. People still like Linden. Cowan brings toughness. Naslund has a no trade clause.

Its true that we have excellent goalie, dependable defence but how do we win the game without scoring? We do lack of some scorig punch. I wish we have another Bure. I am not 100% confident that we will go all the way but 100% we will go past Dallas and we will go some distance depending on who we play. Maybe 3rd round at the best.

I didnt think tonights game was boring, just lack of scoring, nothing to cheer for

how long is his contract? he is sitting on $6 million a year and
not producing shit ... could pick up a couple good $3 million a
year players for that money.

the other problem is the 'system' ... dump and chase is just
not getting it done ... particularly when the nucks are shooting
from 75 feet and/or the boards ... Luongo got scored on in overtime
because someone was aiming for the net, and there were players
going to the net ...

something the nucks just have to start doing ... even if they pick
some 3rd/4th liner to be the 'traffic' and feed him pucks and hope
for some garbage goals ... even farting in Turco's face for half the
game is better than nothing!

Luongo got scored on because Green was so out of sinc and didn't change. Even when Burrows told him too. He then did a half assed attempt at a blocked shot that got tipped.

When Naslund leaves off into the Swedish sunset and we lock up Luongo for 10 years we are gonna be awesome.

All you negative types keep in mind that most people didn't think we'd make the playoffs. Now look at us and look at the Oilers:)

This year's team is very very boring. For excitment it pales to the days when Bert, Mo, and Nazzy were putting up career numbers in the same season. Those teams were speed and skill. This is almost NJ Devils boring.

I will take a hard working, no ego, get it done by 1 goal team over a group of lack lustre, talented, no work effort players any time. 80% of the fans said - new canucks 50% team at best, maybe make the playoffs - this team has surpassed all of our expectations - keep it going canucks, hopefully the best is yet to come ! I would like to see Naslund and the Sedins score more as long as the opposition isn't scoring more than us !!

Funny thing is, I remember last year when the new scheduling system came out with more divisional games and people were up in arms about seeing too many games against the horribly boring Minnesota Wild. Well, I'm sure people will be saying the same thing about the Canucks next year. The answer lies somewhere in between the Crawford coached teams and the Vigneault version, mind you the Crawford teams may have actually won something if they had a clutch goalie.

i seriously think some of you are over reacting, it aint that boring
Didn't watch any of the Sens-Pens or Sabres-Islanders series, eh? This is clearly the least entertaining series so far. If you weren't a fan of one of the teams, you wouldn't even be watching it.

defense wins championships
Not scoring LOSES championships.
