Bang on panther, unfortunately the nucks got a lesson (and then some) about aggresive forechecking.
Big bodied teams can only accomplish this. Maybe a couple years like you say and things will turn
their way. After that showmanship by Vegas, Nucks are done.

Yeah the 1st Game the Boys were out of their Element !
But, they came out strong in the 1st Period tonight, and got a couple quick Goals .
Survived the second Period barrage by the Knights . Including a really bad call by the Ref for delay of Game . The Canucks PK shut Them down tonight .

The Four goals tonight showed Lehner is far from unbeatable .
And Markstrom proved He can bounce back with the best of them, stopping 38 Shots .
The Canucks are far from done ! I'm taking Them in Seven games .

we have a cancellation of the stanleycup playoffs for the first time in history?
I checked during WWll as I wasn't sure if hockey had stopped or not during those times
but it had not!! So we will now see TWO asterisks beside this years Cup winner.

And yah, it was awesome to see the nucks show Vegas they have their
number anytime they want to use it. Lets hope it will go their way and I predict
7 games as well. Less if the referee's turn idiot on the nucks and give it to Vegas.

The positive is those bruises from the 40 blocked shots will be less of an impact after a couple more days off. Imagine taking more pucks to your already black and blue body, hockey players are a tough bunch, Go Canucks!

That in more than respects summed up tonights game. They did hit more along the boards but it
didn't amount to a mound of mule turds. Goaltending by Vegas was exceptional and Nucks had
good chances but couldn't ring the bell when it was really needed.

Well down 3-1 now doesn't look good. In 6 games for Vegas anyone?
I'd like to see Vancouver at least get one more win before its all over.
DAMN!!!

Btw, Mr Q Yah I bought a handfull of tickets will check em tmrw.

Not much chance of another riot now i guess...that's too bad. Maybe if they can somehow come back and then beat Dallas too? Pretty sure the riot isn't guaranteed unless they get to the cup final again. Oh well maybe its better to have a riot next year when hopefully there are less restrictions? I kinda like the idea of a riot with people already wearing masks though...sorta like a forethought for the teargas and rubber bullets flying!

To lose Markstrom your #1 Goalie to injury, only to have Demko step in, and stand on his Head with 42 Saves shows that . The Cards are still stacked against them at this point . But, they're not done like Dinner, the way the Bruins got roasted ! Go Canucks Go...

If the C’s want t get back in this series, they got to turn up the O and the D. Too many shots given up. Not enough taken. Golie wins only last so long.

Frankly Vegas has about the best, most aggressive forecheck I have seen in decades. Giving DeBoer some street cred for that. But ‘Nucks gave it back to them in the 3rd.

Win a couple more please boys, one shift at a time.
Own those rebounds! Really helps keep the pucks out, and put ‘em in.
