Die Hard hockey fans still watched the hockey (so they probally wouldn't change the channel). Don Cherry was a by product that you had to deal with. His opinions did not always match mine, but I still liked him. But Don was right about the significance of Remembrance Day, and how people have disgarded it.
Not just immigrants, but Canadians that don't know their way of life was bought by blood on a battlefield.
Alot of those sailors, soldiers and airmen came home and changed Canada in the late 40s and 50s. Alot had to do with the causes of both World Wars and its effects on the peoples of Europe. Imagine seeing the ruin of Europe in Canada....
