On defence, Robyn Regehr played with Scott Niedermayer, Wade Redden with Adam Foote, Chris Phillips with Ed Jovanvoski, Jay Bouwmeester with Rob Blake, Chris Pronger with Dan Boyle, and Eric Brewer with Scott Hannan.


I was hoping to see Bert on the right side of Thornton and Nash... What a line that would be. But with this kind of talent WOW!!!

No I didn't forget Mario. He wasn't here on Monday and those were the line combinations that Pat Quinn set up. Personally I would like to see the following combos...


Nash, Thornton, Bertuzzi

Lemieux, Lecavalier, Gagne

Primeau, Sakic, Iginla

Yzerman, Richards, Doan


Size, speed, heart, playmaking and scoring on all four lines. With all the talent to choose from it is hard to go wrong though.

Pretty good lineup but I would replace Doan with Heatley.
