Well, the puck drops in about an hour. Any predictions? I think it's anyone's game. Canada wasn't expected to be in the gold medal game, but their defence has really played big and now they're here. The Russian's really laid a beating on the U.S.A. so I'm expecting a fast, hard hitting game. Hopefully it doesn't turn into a blowout, for either team, just a good, clean game and it should be a classic.

The game was completely the opposite as to what I thought it would be. Downie messed them up the whole night. The total team effort was typical of a Canadian team and you have to remember these guys are all stars for their regular teams so it's really an accomplishment having them buy into playing different styles, roles, and systems. Awesome being there for both games but not feeling very well this morning! The Fins acted like they just won the gold or the Stanley Cup. Good for them, that's what it's all about! When you consider the Europeans general concede two medals to Russia and Canada in virtually every tourney, I'm sure it certainly felt that way.
