Great game the czech's outplayed us for large parts of the game Kudos to Luongo having said that.....the first and third goal Brodeur would not have let in.......I pray he's back for tuesday!!

Not to sound like sour grapes but had they stopped and reviewed game 6 on Gelina's non goal......SERIES OVER FLAMES WIN THE CUP!!!! Then who spanked who's ass?
The Finns finished their side of the pool winning all games convincingly and tying Sweden in the final game of the round robin. Kipper has shown in this tournament that he is no fluke and can play with the best of them.
Think that the other side of the pool was weak??? Finns cross the pond to beat the defending champs Team USA while the Czechs gave Canada a run for its money taking them to OT before bowing out.
My point of all this is to show that Canada will be in tough on tuesday against the Finns.
I agree Kipper and the Flames never got spanked once against Tampa ......but on the Finn team Kipper is the only thing that makes me nervous the defence and forwards of Finland are not even close to as good as Calgary's, Team USA looked bad this year except for Esche and were lucky to win last time .....Canada will Crash the net and knock them all over the ice. Canada looked bad tonite, poor break out passes...we're lucky to be moving on, hope they have a better game Tuesday.

Was it Canada really looking bad or were the Czechs just that much better? I think it was the latter. The Czechs really have some outstanding players and they played Canada so well that Canada had a hard time answering the bell. Although they did and eventually won. Wouldn't it be fun to see Reigher crash the net on Kipper and the rebound goes to Sakic for the winner on Tuesday......Something to talk about in Calgary's locker room next year......whenever that year is....
