Can you provide some info on hotels for a visiting sp?

Hey Gang,

I had an sp contact me and ask if there are any decent hotels in Vancouver that she could book a room without needing a credit card to do so.

She wishes to 'tour' here.

I told her I wasn't sure, but would put the question out there in case either the women or the perberts knew of any.

Any suggestions?

IMO if your trying to rent a room, or a car, or even get a g*d damn video rental membership with out a CC you are class A fucked

With that being said the London Guard on Kingsway will 99% of the time let you go with out a CC, well they did me just last January.

I also could count the times on one hand I stay at hotels in a year, so I'm probably as much help as tits on a door.

I haven't tried this in years but I am sure if you go to a hotel like The Holiday Inn and tell them you want to rent a room for x days and will pay them cash up front they will rent you a room. You will probably need to present some sort of id like a drivers licence and don't expect your phone to be able to dial out if they charge for that. Same goes if they have a mini-bar in the room that is on the honor system as they will have no way of charging you if they findout later that you helped yourself and not paid for it.

Credit cards just make it simpler for them to recoup their losses and ensure payment.
