Can we please stop referring BBW as unattractive or as an insult?

This is something I see being WAY too common in reviews and comments about providers. Being BBW is not a bad thing nor does it mean someone is unattractive or not desirable.

Ones body type and size doesn’t reflect on that persons value, worth or being attractive or not. Also we are all attracted to different body types, and there isn’t one body type that is beautiful: all bodies are beautiful.

I don’t think there is anything wrong with using the term, BBW, as long as you’re not using it to put someone down or as an insult.

Let’s also keep in mind that what is beautiful to someone, may not be beautiful for someone else, and vice versa. Beauty truly is in the eye of the beholder.

Also, I would say I have seen this term used very inaccurately to describe one’s body type as well, and I think it is important to understand what BBW is. BBW doesn’t refer to weight, but size, and for women a size 18 or above. I have seen men refer to myself for example as a BBW, and I’m a size 12, and fluctuate in my size from an 8 to 12. I’m always curvy whatever size I’m at.

If you aren’t into my body type, that is okay, and I won’t be everyone’s cup of tea, no one is, but making insulting comments on how I look, imo is more of a reflection of you, not me. I would never make negative comments about how someone looks, as it’s just mean. In my personal life and professional life I date people of all body types, as it’s who the person is that I find the most attractive.

So if you want to refer to someone as BBW, please at least understand what it really means, and please use this term to be a compliment, not as an insult. Here is a great concise article you can read more to understand what BBW means:

Let’s be adding age to this as well, if you walk in expecting a 19 year old stick figure and you get a 45 year old non stick figure, yes you have the right to complain about it. But you don’t have to react like you walked into the room and found a decomposing corpse. Some of us like 45 year old non stick figures!

Absolutely. BBW should be used as a compliment. In fact, Every body type is attractive: thin, BBW, athletic, curvy, tall, short, extra large etc. It's variety that makes the world interesting. We should be thankful of it. People may have their preferences but insulting someone because of their body type is unacceptable.

I do agree that people have a right to complain if there is false advertisement. False advertising is lying and misrepresentation. That’s just bad business practice, whatever business you’re in.

And aw, why thank you! I think I represent myself accurately in my photos, and I specifically ask photographers to do little editing as I want to make sure I’m accurately portrayed in them. I don’t let “haters” get to me, and again I know I won’t be for everyone, but again I have seen in various reviews of other providers, BBW being used as an insult, and it’s just wrong. There’s so many beautiful women in this industry of all shapes and sizes.

Being a BBW provider is soooo much more accepted now then 15 years ago when I started , omg I can’t tell you how many fellow sex workers were furious a chubby girl was getting great reviews & desired , I’ve never found it be be insulting or have I had it used against me , I’m 5’10 barefoot , an ex long distance swimmer , very strong , healthy
I have a very womanly body build for comfort & endurance , natural breasts & you don’t get that from worrying about starving or being gym obsessed 💓💋 built to endure .

In the original post, the second paragraph ends with “all bodies are beautiful.”
Then in the 4th paragraph you say “what is beautiful to someone, may not be beautiful for someone else”.
Obesity has become an accepted health condition. Be it as a result of mental disorders, by physical disorders or otherwise being overweight is a health condition. It’s not always a choice for the person but also not attractive to some people. “BBW” is an internet driven slang acronym. It means (to me) overweight.
Bill Maher brings this up often. Being overweight is not a fashion statement, it’s a health issue.
With all that being said I have been with overweight ladies and found them fun, same with skinny girls. There are lots of ads that have discreetly located blankets or pillows intentionally located to hide a gut. Don’t jump on me for saying gut, it’s a gender neutral term, both sexes have guts. My only ask is that we quit with the false advertising. Let your pictures speak. If you’re chubby, don’t hide it. Some guys, and I know a couple, only like larger girls. More power to them. But like the op says “beauty is in the eye of the beholder”. I don’t agree with fat shaming but I don’t believe in the glorification of a medical condition either.
