Chiefs,
Bengals
Seattle
Packers

You guys might want to check which teams are in AFC and in NFC.

:p

Packers and Seahawks will win their games in the NFC Wildcard Weekend

I'd say the AFC games are a toss up, pickem, none have played consistently well nor done anything great the past month.

Having said that

Steelers and Texans will win their games in AFC Wildcard Weekend.

That's an amazing set of picks from a Vegas Site. Not sure, has it ever happened before?

Now if all four road teams go deep in the playoffs, knocking off a few of the top teams along the way; that would definitely be a future trivia question!

Simply wow! Minne misses a FG to win.

2X the holder had the laces wrong for the kicker!

Remember Ace Ventura?

Chiefs, Steelers and Hawks advance. Packers?

All those defenders fixated on the loose ball and lost their assignments, as soon as Russell got up clean I knew somebody was wiiiiiiide open.
Carolina's a big problem for them; Newton is a better athlete than any LB or S that "spies" him.
What about Lynch's last minute de-activation? Some analysts trying to paint it as petulance.

The Hawks got very lucky but that is football,i wish they would start playing to win instead of playing not to loose.I wonder if beast mode comes back next week or if he is done with the Seahawks,he wont be back next year with the big salary cap hit compared to Rawls half million hit.

OK.... not a football guy so please help me understand the deal with the laces on the ball and how that affects the kicker? Thanks.

Carolinas offence isn't winning this game and Cam has no playoff experience. He wont be a difference maker IMO.
The best defence next week wins this one

Playoff football, anything can happen, Seattle really dodged a bullet.
BTW, the laces on a pigskin forms a ridge on the side of the ball, if the kicker lays his boot directly on the laces his accuracy goes way down.
I picked 3 of 4 (BBB got all 4)
Next week, NE vs the Chiefs-
GB at Arizona
Hawks at Carolina
Steeler go to Denver

My picks: Pats- NE too good in the playoffs, Carolina- home team will win, Packers- experience will prevail, Denver- broncos better defense.

Actually, I got 3 of 4 picking the Texans who were blown out by the Chiefs.

Great playoff weekend :D

the nastiness at the end of the Bengals vs Steelers game was unfortunate.

The Vikings should have tanked the last game and gone to Washington. You gotta lose to win.

The kicker will be villified however he had a great game going 3-4 kicking in that freezing weather with bad holds.
I think it was poetic justice because the hawks got a bad pass interference call a few plays earlier.

the one against Chancellor was the right call.
he held the receiver well past 5 yards…they'll call that every time.

I agree with Hoops on this one. Holding is not the same as PI. Holding is a 5 yard penalty. Chancellor had position on that play and the receiver ran into him at which point they both got a bit handsy but should have been a no call.

Chancellor did get away with a grab earlier in the game though.

Actually Seattle should not have been in this game.

Go back to that Lions game where Seattle batted the ball out of the end zone.
Very bad officiating and Lions lost a win.

I played QB and was the holder. We were always told to spin the laces facing the goal posts "otherwise, the ball can go anywhere but through the posts". The kicker wants a flat surface to make good contact with the ball.

I guess my only analogy would be a pitcher in baseball throwing knuckle balls. The want to use their knuckles against the stitching that creates an unpredictable spinning effect when thrown.

Even the pitcher is lucky if he is accurate with that pitch.
