Was hoping the men of the board could offer me a little bit of insight into what would serve them best in an eros ad or providers website.
I think that a lot of the time women create sites based on their own idea of what is appealing and while I agree that she has to feel that the site or ad is something she is comfortable with, I do wonder what would be different if it was up to the clients to choose the content. While it may be up to me to decide what sort of language is best for sharing the information.. I really want to know what information is most important, and what you have experienced as appealing or off putting in the past. I would definitely like to know if anyone has any ideas about what should be included but never is.
I have a few basic "no's" in mind, no music that automatically plays, no overly busy designs, no cliche's to the best of my ability (the are inevitable in this industry) and no bullshit.
but... are measurements worthwhile on an ad or do you assume they're bullshit anyway, should I say much about who I am and who I would like to see or is it intimidating and should be left until someone contacts me... anything you can offer in terms of advice would be appreciated, and who knows, maybe this thread will be informative for other girls in the future trying to decide on what their webcontent should be.
thanks
