im trying to get a schedule with her around my birthday
and she asked for a $100 deposit to secure the slot on a specific date and time
is that predeposit a red flag?

Most reputable and well reviewed providers require a deposit. It’s a safety thing.

I have never met Ms. Parker, but she was a somewhat regular participant on PERB for a time. There were occasional reviews, and as I recall they were generally favourable. I don't think the request for a deposit is a red flag in the case of a provider with a solid reputation. But again, I have never actually met the lady, so I can't offer a personal recommendation.

Definitely not a “red flag”...

I was planning to see Cami over a year ago but due to the initial Covid outbreak she was taking a break. I ended up seeing her six months later and offered a deposit long before our pending appointment. Cami is legit, whatever she says she'll do on her website is what her boundaries are. Plus she post photos of herself quite often so you know what she looks like. She's asking for 25% of an hour deposit which is fair. She's not a high volume provider.
