Calls from phone numbers starting with 127 - scam

Last two three days, I have been receiving calls from phone numbers that start with 127. I answered it the first time and there was nothing on the other side. Second time, I answered it by mistake because it went to call waiting. Again, no one on the other line.
I got a total of at least 8 calls. The first three numbers are 127 and rest are different each time.
127 546 7866
127 530 7041
127 441 7926
127 516 7583
127 623 5043
127 999 3452

That is as far as I can go because my phone only stores about 50 calls.

Did you check with the phone company to see if there were any charges to you ? Wasn't there some sort of scam where they would call, say nothing and then you would get a bill for the call ? Or was that only if you called the number back ?

That's a good question.... May be I will call the phone company and find out. Thanks

AFAIK legitimate phone numbers can't start with 1 because that's the long distance prefix. So it's obviously fake.
