You have all seen the odd post from me here and there over the past few months and I have to say this seems like a pretty cool group, I was wondering ( Again ) how hard would it be for some of us to actually get together and have a few beers and maybe enjoy a show say ... at the number 5?

I have spent alot of time in chat with the Terbs and they have parties and get togethers with both the girls and the guys, I'm into that. Other than my fellow hobbyists I have no one in my life that I can ever tell about what goes on here, this is a secret society and we must protect it, that being said, I would enjoy meeting some of you..., and if by some random circumstance you are my client, or I am yours, or you bartend at my favorite pub, well then we know somehting more about each other, I'm certainly not going up too my wife to tell her "Guess who I saw at my POONERS get togther tonight ...?" HAHA

Let me know, I am willing to work out some details and maybe even approach some of the ladies to see if they are down for beers and a show...

I'd love to meet a few of the ladies, Like Bijou, Nina, Dahlia, OH! the list could go on!

Good times; I attended a few.

Some of the ladies tho, expected to be paid for their time and others had discretionary concerns.

That's too bad, was never the case in TO; the ladies there saw it as a great way to meet potential clients and drum up business. Was always a great way to meet people and network; almost a pooner's equivalent of speed dating.

news flash...you can meet them anytime...just pick up the phone and book a session. easy peasy.

The other thing you could do is follow the MERL lead and start with finding a group of 5 or 6 pooners that like to hang out for a beer and chat. Allow it to grow and soon you may have a few SPs join in. Good luck JG.

However, a few things unsettle me at the moment.

Firstly, I already know eddie and trust him (and 'yike him yots!'), which is why I would support MERL.

Secondly, I'm feeling pretty disgusted with all the board postings. My trust level is not very high right now, and I feel defensive and also the need to be self-protective.

I support you guys setting something up, meeting each other, weeding out each other, and I may consider an appearance once such is done.

Not too sound like a tough guy, but I have worked on and off for the past twenty years as a doorman, and doing some personal security work, the "Goofs" wouldn't last long in my company, and I definitely wouldn't put up with any disrespect towards any lady that was gracious enough to come out!

As far as a get together at the "Byrd" I live in surrey, I have been to the Byrd, and I'll have to pass for a number of reasons, sorry Susi!
