Calgary strip clubs

I'm heading to Calgary for an overnighter and usually like to visit clubs when I'm traveling. Last time I was in Calgary, the Strip Club scene was non-existent. Any changes (hopefully), or will I have to indulge in an escort for some fun?

I would say that we now have at least 3 good strip clubs , not as good as the ones in Montreal, but are there any that good. The Big Easy, Speak Easy and the French maid are all quality places.

If you want some fun with a lady have a look on here for some of the independents (SexyCJ and Rae Anne) are a good start. You would probably get 10 times the fun for your money with an indie as opposed to the clubs.

Strip clubs in Calgary are beyond pathetic, No vip rooms, No private dances No touching, playing "basketball" with Loonies and toonies. You could have more fun watching the 5m news. Go to Montreal or Ontario for quality clubs we need some new laws.....badly

If you must be in Calgary, I agree with the Poon Master. The French Maid provides an adequate appetizer, but the independents provide the good meal.

Robber65 you must be mistaken, the clubs in Calgary are fab. The girls are hot and the dancing is top notch not to mention the atmosphere. I think all those things make up for the lack of privates and lap dances.

I agree MrM, the whole idea of throwing loonies at the dancers is disgusting.

I find the Speakeasy off Macleod the best, reasonable priced beer and a good steak sandwich.

Parking at the downtown French Maid just gets too expensive.

The sad joke known as the strip club laws that are set by the Liquor Control Board apply to all of Alberta, it's not just a Calgary thing.

Here in Edmonton, there is a near-legendary strip club called Chez Pierre's which circumvents many of the laws by being alcohol-free - not sure if the City of Cows has anything similar.

Houstons a Blast, stop off at the local gas station or grocery store, pick up your own flat of beer and hit the Strippers, as the one I hit for a buds stag was byob.

We should mention that when Wolverine says "alcohol-free" it does not imply in any way that you can't get a drink at Chez (and even less that the booze is free )

It just means that Pierre does not have a liquor license and therefore does not have to comply with AGLC regulations...

Being a former exotic dancer...I find the scene to be kind of boring in Calgary, not to mention most of the "show" consists mainly of the performer on the floor spread eagle for the loonie/toonie toss!! I find that to be degrading. However, the girls are doing it so perhaps they are in a different head space??
I loved the days of taking tips more personally and being able to get off the stage and have fun...days gone by
I did have a blast at Diamonds in Edmonton though (my birthday bash with the perbites...it wasn't really my birthday ) The dancer "Asia" got down and dirty" woo hoo!! and pulled a few of us up on stage with her. She made me an offer I couldn't refuse...flash for a free poster, being the bad girl I am, up went my shirt. Proceeded with a friend to have a couple private shows with her. Wow...unforgettable!
So Edmonton-much more liberal.

Is the body shoppe not open anymore?I used to live just around the corner from there,that place was crazy back then.My first private lapdance there I got a hummer from a gorgeous brunette(I was 19 at the time lol).Things must have changed since I left?The french maid used to be surrounded by streetwalkers damn near elbow to elbow!

The Body Shoppe has been closed for a while. The lap dance area was wide open with no possibility for extras the last couple of times I went there. There's still quite a few SW around the French Maid, but they are higher priced.

Are you kidding me? I would rather watch paint dry then go to one of the pathestic strip clubs here in Calgary. IT SUCKS. 5 foot barrier from the girls, NO lap dances, I'm surprised your aloud to LOOK at the girls its so freaking conservative out here. Go to your computer, book a flight To Niagara Falls and go strait to Seductiosn or Sundowner, DO not pass go
