the travelodge on MacLeod - by the cemitary hill.... or the Nessan dealership has what they call suites - not really a suite but they have a speparte room with a very very big jet tub - kinda roman style room - I think the room is 168.00 a night, although it's been a while since I stayed there.

could be the holiday inn too I can't remember now - but it's right by the dealerships as you come over the hill going south on Macleod. Absolutely know its right across from the Husky gas station.
You're right, it is the Holiday Inn
on 42nd Ave. & Macleod Tr. S.

Their site says the rate for a suite with tub is $164 during high season, but I think you can get it for around $20 less at this time.

Hifi's link is actually more informative than the "official" site. :)

BASTARDS are renovating, adding flat screen TVs to the jacuzzi suites and raising the rate from 134 to 204

I got an email from them 2 weeks ago:
We do have our Luxury Suite available, which includes a Jacuzzi, a gas
fireplace, a separate living area with a television in the bedroom as well
as the seating area. This room is at the rate of $279 plus tax

Little too rich for my blood.

Holiday Inn Express on Macloed Tr. south has some very nice jacuzzi rooms for a reasonable price. Afriend stayed there last fall at about 140.00 a night.

Looks like I'll be looking for a Calgary hotel room with an insuite jet tub this next weekend.
Hey jim, any luck?

Hey jim, any luck?
Seems that you are looking at $200 plus, just got another email from www.hospitalityinn.ca:

Our Jacuzzi suite which has a separate sitting area with two French
doors that lead you to a King Size bed with Jacuzzi ensuite start at the
rate of $255.00, with the corporate rate being $200.00 per night. There
is a couch in the sitting area that pullouts into a sofa bed if you need
extra sleeping area. This room also overlooks the Atrium.

If you're looking for something a little more spacious we have a loft
suite which is an upstairs/downstairs concept. There is a spacious
sitting area with a balcony that overlooks the atrium and then a
staircase that leads you to a King size bedroom with a Jacuzzi ensuite.
There is also a balcony overlooking the courtyard in the upper area.
These rates start at $290.00 per night with the corporate rate being
$245.00

Just keep in mind these rates do fluctuate and these are not set rates.

So it seems that the best bet may be the Holiday Inn Express on McLeod.

I can't find anything on the Holiday Inn website that mentions jacuzzi suites at the MacLeod Trail location.

Wolverine,
After reading what you wrote, I checked the website and you are correct, there is no mention of jacuzzis in the suites at the Holiday Inn on 42nd Ave. and Macleod.

I took the opportunity to phone them just now and confirmed that the suites DO include jacuzzis. It is just an omission on the website. However, the clerk did tell me that the 3 suites tend to be booked up most of the time, so you may want to act quickly.

Oh and also the current rate is $150 a night. As for the Holiday Inn Express which is in the far south end of town on Macleod, I don't know their rates or availability. If you need me to check, just holler :)

Holiday Inn and Jacuzzi Suites

I know that the downtown Holiday Inn removed their jacuzzi suites from their website. I believe it was due to the rate increase I mentioned earlier and the fact that the rate on their site was the lower rate.
