I'm not that bright but what this has to do with purchasing a car leaves me baffled. Why would you use a notary in that instance?
Let's just say you have a legit business where your customers pay in cash. Fruit stand, corner store, house repairs, fast food place, escort, sell stuff at flea markets, etc and usually make cash deposits to your bank. The bank will get to know your habits, so no issues. Now you accumulate some cash to buy a car. You can avoid the hassle of handing over $20,000 cash and going through the Fintrac reporting at the dealership, OR you can go to your Notary ( hopefully you have a relationship with one), and they can to the background stuff in confidence and provide the paper work you just hand the dealership with your wad of cash. Makes life easy and confidential.

Try going into a Harley Dealerhship with $30,000 cash to buy a bike. That will a fun exercise.
