The Edmonton section of PERB used to have 30+ people viewing it at any given time, but lately it's been in the teens. The "other" board has picked up a little, but not enough to make up for the lost readership.

Any thoughts on what's up? Down economy? PERB's new format? Slow Edmonton scene? All of the above?

I'm thinking it's slower here because there is less pooning going on (at least by those who are board members).

maybe the one post review wonders have nothing else to contribute, and the rest get tired of reading the one post wonders posting the same review about the same sp over and over.

and they're getting tired of the spamming "thank you for the same review".

the new log in procedure is locking out many of them, and they can't figure out how to log on.

All of the above, plus:
- I suspect many pooners are sticking with their favorite SPs for now. And most of us aren't going to review the same SPs over and over again.
- post-Christmas credit card bill shock
- pooners are away on holidays

The other board is seeing more activity. More actual reviews, less drama, fewer idiots and no gimmick posters. I hope the other place's Edmonton forums continue to get busier.
