Burner phones Manitoba 2021 advice

Hey fellas,

So I've never had or used a burner phone before. I do really like the idea though.

When I enquired at Walmart I was told that pay as you go these days still require a registered owner. Basically from what I understood there are no more anonymous cells.

I'm hoping I was misinformed. In a perfect world I would buy a phone loaded with texts and maybe some minutes, pay cash and that would be that. Does that exist? I think that there must be guys out there wondering the same thing. Any advice from those with experience is welcome.

Personally, no. Maybe that would work for someone else. I couldn't do that without explaining to that someone why I need a burner phone.

You may have heard this all before but my Samsung uses Android 11 and has a secure folder. Here is where launch TextNow, have my secret Gmail, contacts, pictures etc. It's like having a secret phone within my phone. Just have to enable it from settings.

But for those SP's who ignore or don't book individuals with Text apps, TextNow won't work.

If they dont book or ignore messages with a text app than i move on to someone else..they like to have their privacy and be discreet , well so do I

Interesting. Don't think iPhones have that capacity.

Edit: Just confirmed it does not: I sent myself a text from my text app to my iPhone and nothing identifying that text as coming from a text app.

iPhones are just absolute crap , have always regretted having one. There are also some websites that can verify the carrier , I know Leah Laurence uses one.

For safety reasons I don't think we should disclose what sites we use for our safety protocol.

If the SP states in their ad NO APP NUMBERS please just respect that and move on to someone who allows it.

There are many other SPS who don't mind but for us who do try not to over step our boundaries.

Yes, this has been my approach to it too - if the ad says no text apps, I just move on. I use a text app for my reasons and some Sp's don't want to be approached by app numbers for their reasons. All good, no harm, no foul.

7-11 Speakout is the way to go. You can use your pooning email address, but I don't believe you have to. You can also pay cash at 7-11 so no trail.....

A couple of well respected ladies here in Winnipeg have told me that when they get fake bookings it often comes from a text app. Also attempts to get the incall address, text that they have parked on the street when the lady can see clearly no car parked.
