Budapest / Vienna info?

As this forum is always a great source of information, does anyone have any pooning experience and / or general tourist advice for visiting Budapest or Vienna?

Another trip coming up so any info would be greatly appreciated!

While I'm no stranger to Europe, I'm a complete virgin when it comes to Vienna or Budapest...

But if Euro_ZSabina is from there then I'll take that as a "ZStrong" recommendation for Budapest!!!

I got caught with the drink scam years ago in London. Days later I was still smartin' and having a drink in Amsterdam. So when a girl tried to join me there for a drink, I expected a similar scam and gave her a really bad time.

Turned out she liked my "accent". I felt like such an idiot! Turned into a good long term friendship (gotta love the Dutch!).
