The problem with Brock is quite basic..he doesn't like to get hit. Dana White said as much when he said that Brock doesn't have any problem throwing punches, it's receiving punches that's his biggest problem. Guess that leaving becoming a professional boxer out of the question. At 5-2 his record is far less impressive than his reputation warrants. His losses total Fedor's who's been fighting MMA for about 12-15 years longer than Brock.
Well said. When you watch UFC, some guys get hit, back up for space, then are smart enough to be able to move in and properly clinch so as to recover from being stunned. Some (like Brock) recoil and he gets really stunned which is the worst thing you can do. In the shane Carwin fight it was the same thing, he got popped and rolled to his back.
Being able to take a punch (or even jab) is kind of important in the sport, but even though he can't from what I've seen, you gotta love the big lug. <3
Though I think everyone hates him. I love his jackass comments about humping his wife and drinking beer, but most people want to topple the man on the top of the pyramid.
