Beverly Hills. In the Kitchen eatin' vittles.
Wouldn't be suprised.
Can't remember if it was here or not but I posted a while back for you guys to be careful about Bed Bugs.
A buddy of mine who owns an exterminating company told me last winter that there was a huge increase in the bed bug population in Winnipeg and since I've seen several news stories.
I'd be very careful when visiting any SP or MP.
Do not lay your clothes down on a bed, chair, or especially the floor. Make sure to hang them up and it is best to hang them up somewhere, where the floor is not carpeted such as a bathroom. And definitely have a shower afterwards or at least towel off.
All it takes is to bring a couple of those nasty little buggers home in your clothes or hair.

Sad thing is, a place like that is very easy to treat for stuff like roaches and bedbugs. There are days when no one is around at all, and there are no foodstuffs or pets. So a bug bomb can do a great job, and the new steam heat treatments for bedbugs would be very easy to do...

Its just a matter of caring and spending some cash. Might be an idea for the owner to hire Poulins to do a complete fumigation/sterilization, and then post the bill for everyone to see and dispel the rumours...

is it true that broadways is infested with bed bugs ? Saw it on cl
totally not true....

this is definitly not true...iam an employee of broadways and am currently sitting in the building with 10 ladies who all can confirm this is a totally false accusation!!!! We figure it is a pissed off bored ex employee who is not allowed back to broadways who is starting disgusting rumours. I can assure you the health dept would be involved and our doors not open. We are open and have no bedbug problems at all......actually no bug problems !!!!! This is a pathetic person starting rumours who is being looked into on craigslist!!!! I hope this stops immediatly as slander is illegal. I hope everyone who has unfortunatly wasted there time reading these fake posts , reads this one!!!
Thank you for your time

THIS IS EXACTLY WHY U CAN TELL THIS IS A LIE........
If you read the false post on CL it contradicts itself. The writer claims he is a man with a wife in the first sentence and then goes on to say how he worked here at Broadways for 3 years. There have never been ANY MALE employees in all the years of Broadways being open!!! with that being said youy can tell the person is lying and is a idiot and got caught in there lies!!! Again there is no bedbugs at Broadways!!!!!

was there yesterday .... no sign of any bugs. Place seemed cleaner than last time was there. Now there is a door at the top of the stairs where you have to buzz for someone to let you in. Gives more opportunity to check the lady out when she comes to unlock the door!! Had a shower before and after, was careful as always wherever I go about hanging up my clothes. New shower knobs too!! Heard the old ones broke off!! lol Had a great time...

I think when people start reporting that a business in Winnipeg has bedbugs or any other bugs for that matter should have something in writing from the city's health board. To make a statement that a major hotel or a Mp has bedbugs is a little over the top. I haven't been to Broadway in 6 months, however the last time I was there the shower was very nasty. I wonder if they have ever thought about installing a soap dispenser, rather then having one bar of soap for everybody.

Ya, I'm sure the girls working there would have something to say about it if they were getting bitten every day and not by horney guys.

I've worked there and had many cockroach experiences. I wouldn't be surprised to hear of bed bugs. The mattresses are over 10 years old at least. Heat kills bed bugs. If you do go, put all of your clothes in a dryer and shower.

Wow, there's a real jump. If you read the person who worked there in 03, there wasn't the malice in the post that was on the CL ad. She was just making an observation like other past employees have made (who you didn't jump on). And she ends with the fact she is happy to see the owners putting some money into the business. The "time on your hands" comment works for all posters....

Personally, I have been to broadways a number of times, granted not in the last year or so, and comparing it to any MP I have visited in Toronto, Calgary or the states, well... It is truly unfortunate that this is the nicest FS MP I have been to in Winnipeg (someone jump in with Nevadas here, sorry I haven't been there). Its sort of like being the nicest public washroom in Calcutta. Not a standard of excellence to be held to.

New soap dispenSers? Wow, now they just need to buy some decent soap for them and get people to use it... upgrades would be flooring, paint, plumbing, mattresses, chairs, changes of bedding, big fluffy towels, actual pleasant decor, air filters, that kind of stuff. Don't get me wrong, soap dispensers are a good idea, but they shouldn't be considered an upgrade, they should be a must have. Sharing bars of soap? Ewwww... thats why hotels give you the little bars every day. And hotels give you a nice, big room with clean sheets for $60 for the whole day, not an hour.

You'd never hear a rumor like this about EB/TO. And most MP's I've been to outside Winnipeg compare with EB on a cleanliness level. But since FS MP's here are in such short supply, I guess the owners don't feel the necessity to actually give the customers and workers a nice enviroment to take care of business in. And why do they charge the same room rate as EB, yet give you a place that you actually have to worry about rumors like these?

I remember when they renovated the main floor and had some rooms set up down there. Had the pleasure of having a session there before it got shut down. Why they don't give the upstairs a full reno, and hire a maid I'll never know. I guess they are busy enough and don't want to attract too much attention by being too busy.

I know they are not issuing any new MP licenses so these jokers wil have no new local competition, and can keep getting away with the stuff they are doing. I wonder why no-one has set up a place just outside the City Limits to avoid the stupid bylaws and escort license fees. Set up a nice little place, clean and well staffed, offer the ladies transport to and from... Winnipeg's answer to the bunny ranch.

Well i guess it all comes down to - It's not for everyone, just like everything or everywhere else. Some of us prefer EB/TO, some are diehard Nevada men, some go to Moonlite, and some frequent Broadways. Just like some will follow a sp to where ever she goes and not see anyone else except that 1 favorite. In short TO EACH HIS OWN.....

I haven't seen posts on here from Newtugger or Futuretugger, but they all agree that EB/TO is the perfect example of cleanliness for this type of business in Wpg. If only fs were allowed!!!!
Even the best hotels can have bedbugs though. Everyone is more leery of places like Broadways and Moonlight that obviously need some work done. Incalls that some ladies advertising on CL, and even on EC, are no better - no new towels, only one bar of soap, etc, have are no better - maybe worse than BW and ML!
Men will have to start copying the practice many women follow in carrying around those little bottles of Purell to ward off germs and stuff. Are we too manly (or stupid) to do that? Does it really work?

Those little bottles of Purell do sweet fuck all. The scary thing about this whole bedbug deal is that it isn't clear whether daily cleaning really prevents these little buggers from taking hold or not.

Mb. (not wpg)
Now I know why I never go to an MP ,( although , on occassion I have considered doing so to see a particular lady). I doubt that I will ever be temped again !
With all the discussion lately about bed bugs it puts a real scare into me, and not much does. I do not want to bring any hitch hikers home with me. Not that I'm scared of the little bastards , but if we ever get bedbugs in my house it better be the result of staying at a hotel somewhere with my wife!
As you can see I am way more scared of my wife that of a bedbug.
This reminds me of one of my first encounter with a lady. We planned to meet a pretty new and nice hotel.
After a bit of intro and stuff in the sitting room we moved to the bedroom. Before we shower, she removed my cloths and put them on a hanger and hung them up. Then we showered together. I told her that this would give her a chance to see' all of me' before we proceeded. ( I also wanted to see ' all of her').
After we got out of the shower she opened a drawer in the bedroom, brought out a blanket that she brought and spread it on the bed before we laid down.
I have never had that treatment before or after. She developed her technique in Europe and I must say that I have never experienced the like. I have seen her a few times since and we have never been so meticulous again but I must say that first time with her left an impression.
She now runs her own establishment in another city. Believe me, it will be run with the upmost thought to cleanliness.
