Another year, another sting targeting clients. Last year it was Project Block, this year it's Project Blockade. What's next year? Project Blockade Harder.
Someone's got to go down to the local Tim Hortons this time next year and have a chat with these octogenarians and say "Look, you're going to see an ad that's written very well, no spelling mistakes and the girls photos are hot. She's going to keep on asking you what you want and how much you want to pay. Just keep on walking Grandpa!"

With the extremely politically correct ndp there will be more of this. NDP + Joy Smith is bad for the business, all women are victims all men are bad etc.
They impounded cars so it sounds like guys were picking girls up off the street but I’ve lived in Brandon for 35 yrs and I’ve never seen a street walker so I’m assuming this was happening in the downtown bars and undercover cops were approaching guys and going to the guys cars then busting them.
A number of years back, I had a work gig in Brandon. We were staying at the Canada Inns, had dinner there and after decided to play some slots and while there my buddy and I were hit up twice by working girls asking if we wanted company. Each said we go go up to our rooms and discuss details.
Sure smelled of a set-up to each of us.
This sort of thing is risky and you were wise to say no. No opportunity to look up a SP's website, online presence etc and see if they seem legitimate. Best to make a booking with someone who has a website on multiple paid sites, professional looking website, Twitter account etc. You are much less likely to walk into a sting that way, because cops aren't going to take the time to do all of those things to look more legit.
Brandon is a puzzling place for action. For a town that size there is a lack of locals advertising. I'm there quite often, and occasionally want a decent massage +, but have never felt comfortable with the limited scene there appears to be. But it has to be going on, sex sells, even in Brandon I reckon!!
