Was that for conducting business during the lockdown though? The spas opened here at the beginning of June with guidance from the public health officials. I’m wondering though if one or more providers/clients tested positive and told the PHO that they worked/bought services at a spa, would it be publicized. If it was established that the cases were linked I mean of course.
so..... there was one patron who tested positive.... all staff were tested and found negative....and they are open again. cleared by VCH to do so. they traced 500 people to alert them they may have been exposed and to be tested...the way it was portrayed in the media was terrible...and did not represent the reality of what happened...shocker....the contact of patrons who may have been exposed did not include "strip club" or where the exposure happened...so it did not create issues of breach of confidentiality.... the media are just so quick to write sensationalist stories about us to sell papers...and of course when the club was cleared....silence...no reporting on that.....
we have been working on these issues and the guidelines for a month...more than a month... and the strategies put in place for both parlors and clubs are stricter than most businesses with operators really going above and beyond what is expected of them..... which is really helping to prove to the powers that be that we are an ethical industry for the most part....
i would like to suggest that people support our last 4 show lounges.... these businesses are awesome and so much fun...i cannot imagine a city without show lounges and worry that if there is no support, some may close permanently.
so get out for a beer!...... with no more than 6 friends...buy a VIP dance and enjoy a show!
