I'm reminded of a story my college prof told me about Howard Hughes. Mr. Hughes was dating Jane Russell, but she was rarely in the mood for sex because she'd constantly be complaining about her bra straps digging & chafing into her shoulders. So HH went to one of his engineers [Hughes owned TWAirlines] and asked him to design a better bra- the aerospace engineer invented the "18 hour bra" - voila Howard Hughes was a happy man again.

It appears that others have made fun at you without answering your question, so here is my take:
One of the delights and pleasures for many males is watching the marvels of a woman's mammaries as they jiggle and bounce around, and to see their nipples hardening and protruding suggesting they are getting excited and turned on (even if they are simply cold). So, for someone to create something to eliminate this visual feast and source of pleasure would be considered offensive.

I suspect this is also the kind of story that one would find in the likes of The Onion (i.e., it is fake news).
