Those persons who are "boycotting" the ladies who charge over $220 dollars would never see them anyway. What they are trying to do is "force" the SP to reduce their fee so they CAN see those ladies. But, of course, they are probably the sort of people who those SPs don't want to see in the first place. The clients who see the higher end ladies don't mind paying a premium since it acts as a filter for them as well.

In other words, both clients and the SPs in the "over $220" market in that city have no incentive at all to get behind this "boycott".

If these losers want to see the ladies in question, then pony up what their fee, or shut up.

I think "boycott" is not what majority of the Wpg pooners are talking about ... someone started a thread called that.
BTW...Winnipeg does not have any street workers ..they are all on BP! ;-)

If I lived in Winterpeg I wouldn't want to spend any time on the street either :D
I don't know how you guys do it up there with that long winter. It blows my mind the housing costs in Toronto for the shit lifestyle you get. Frozen for 7 months out of the year, no tennis or biking. And it costs more than Southern California to live.

That's one reason we're proud to be Canadian. We know how to survive winter!

:)
I'm not sure if any of us in the Lower Mainland or Vancouver Island can really claim that... Case in point: I was really surprised to find that it was actually snowing yesterday. It's still snowing today, and how much snow do we have on the ground from this massive unexpected snow storm? Well, it seems to be less than an inch. I couldn't hack it in places like Winnipeg where they get real winters, instead of just several months of somewhat cold rain, and the occasional tiny bit of snow.

It'll be interesting to see if providers continue to travel to Winnipeg. Not sure why they'd want to put up with this nonsense when they can go somewhere where they'll be treated respectfully instead. Or maybe Winnipeg is very profitable for them, who knows? In any case, my advice is to not drop prices. Winnipeggers will ALWAYS want a discount - not just in this industry but in most others I do business in. If you offer $300, they'll want $200. If you offer $200, they'll want $150. Chalk this boycott up to a few sad, lonely old men and the coldest Winnipeg winter in 64 years.

I'm thrilled they are boycotting please continue . These types of players are the absolute worst clients they are obsessive , over the top sex addicted acting who will beg you to see them , never follow the rules you gave set up , try to get sex without a condom , see multiple escorts a day trying for more and more sexually risky behaviours . Do not kid yourself this type will pay into the thousands per month for sex so they are not cheap . I do not judge this man , I look at him as a sick person and chose to not see them and I encourage all escorts to see the signs and have the courage to give them up as clients . Kinda like do no harm .

I am going to be boycotting Jaguar, Ferrari and Porsche dealers because I don't like the prices they charge for cars. I am positive they won't care, so why should the girls care if the dummies think a boycott of them means a whole lot. Its a market driven economy and if I can only afford a Hyundai Genesis Coupe at least I am going to enjoy it, but I am not going to be stupid and think Jaguar should lower the prices of their gorgeous cars because I want them too. Dummies Dummies Dummies. I declare the boycott officially over.

i am responding the a thread happening in the winnipeg section in which the clients are discussing boycotting any sp who charges more than $220 an hour....

i have seen may interesting arguments there and in particular a quote from carl marx...very interesting....

my question is this;

why does your boycott not also include those workers who charge LESS than a certain amount? undercutting, especially by migrant workers has undermined the wages of canadian sex workers almost everywhere.

so in the boycott, should you not also boycott those charging below a certain rate in order to support the "local ladies who are fair and reasonable"?

in the thread they mention workers on street being at the "price point" some clients are willing to pay...

well i would suggest you should pay them more, stop taking advantage and pay women, where ever they are in the industry at least a minimum wage....instead of waiting for the desperate to lower their prices or looking for a deal on street...

these kinds of discussions should go both ways if you really believe what you are posting .... if you feel $220 is a reasonable wage you should start paying all sp`s this wage as part of your action...including workers on street...

Bringing this up was really pointless, Susi.

Clearly you need not be a rocket scientist to understand that those who would take issue with prices over X level would already be effectively boycotting such girls, even if by merely not contacting them. If you really think you`ve unearthed actual human beings who have in the recent past paid higher prices to spend time with the same or similar women and who will now boycott those same women, based on that arbitrary price line, then you`re crazy.

Prostitution is among the most free-flowing markets in the western world, and it is precisely for that reason why YOU are wrong to sit here in judgment of random working girls who may well do whatever it takes, in whatever surroundings they need to find, in order to make ends meet for themselves.

Your implication that they (street girls, undercutters, etc.) should be at all "boycotted" is rather pathetic from somebody who suggests she is "advocating" on behalf of those very same people.

To "boycott" a subset of an industry merely by not willingly (or being able to afford to) pay(ing) their price level is one thing, but to suggest boycotting low wage-earners just because they are low wage-earners implies you need to go back to school!!!

Recently various boycotts-for-a-day of certain fast foot restaurants have been in vogue, but only true idiots would be championing those boycotts if everyone knew that the lost revenue would come right out of the paychecks OF the very low-wage earners the boycotts were intended to help!!!

That you can`t see the difference is absolutely shocking!!!

I don't think you understood what I think Susi was getting at. She was bringing that up as a comparison to test the OP's logic rather than advocating a boycott of those with a lower price point. In a later post Suzi went on to say:

i don't really agree with it either to be honest...if i need a cigarette and i am willing to suck cock for it, that's my choice....if i want to fuck a guy for $5...that is also my choice....

and not every guy can afford to pay the high end rates for a variety of reasons...

i support each individual sp defining their own rates.

i also don't think that minimum or maximum wages will ever be enforceable in our industry....
