Kind of surprised no thread has appeared regarding Jason Botchford dying suddenly. 48 years old. Leaves behind a hot wife and 3 kids.

I loved Botch too. Much harder to pay attention to our shitty team now.
He will be sorely missed and I keep thinking about his family.
I don’t know where else to talk about this, so I’ll just ask it: is it just me, or does something seem a little off about the death announcement, and the timing? Like, could he have died of some other cause than what they are calling “apparent heart failure”?

I believe it happened Sunday and the family wanted a couple of days to inform family and friends before it became public knowledge. TSN started talking about it/tweeting about it Wednesday morning. As for the exact cause, who knows. Entirely up to the family to disclose as much or as little about that as they choose. Really feel for those three little kids
