So, can we discuss the recent developments in the Robocall scandal? Or just the fact that the thread disappeared?

Gotta love how the Conservatives scheduled Chief Electoral Officer Marc Mayrand to release his first report of the scandal on the same day of the budget. Cute, guys. Here's what he had to say today,
"It’s absolutely outrageous,” Marc Mayrand told a parliamentary committee. “It’s totally unacceptable in a modern democracy.”

He had a voice of reason vs some of the opposing views here. Mostly moderate.
Wonder if he asked to be removed?
I would guess he asked to leave as there is no mention of him being banned in Perbatory and all of his posts are gone. Even if someone gets banned the no offending posts usually stay.
Maybe he is running in the next election and didn't want this skeleton in his closet. lol

I doubt that will be the case as perbites have learned to ignore him. Case in point, he recently started a thread titled: "Celebrate Earth Hour By Turning the Lights *On*", no doubt to inflame but to everyone's credit, nobody replied. I guess the "don't feed the troll" advice is being heeded.

You certainly take a great deal of interest in me. I hate to disappoint you, but I can't name even one thread that you started or how many hits it received. Do you even understand that you are drawing attention to the issue by your post above? Watch him reply to this post and draw even more attention to the issue which he wants everyone to ignore.

No. Just from memory. I found it funny that he was using a whoring site to talk about nothing but politics. I mean, there's comment sections on the Globe website.You can make the claim, but can you prove it now?
He had insightful comments on alot of topics in the lounge other than politics, alot centered around the hobby as well.
I was mostly interested in his comments on his "nieces". Always thought that was a great euphamism for "21 year old, co-ed, foreign exchange students". Maybe THAT is the reason for his downfall, eh? Heh heh heh
