.

I stopped contacting him because he had always been pushy and persistent to hang out etc.

So I confessed that I too, am an escort and he promised he wouldn't tell anyone but if I needed a driver, or needed help at all, he would be there for me...........
I don't like him at all, he creeps me out and I have a feeling he won't be very nice if we do have a session. Not only that, he is a huge black guy, probably 2 and half times bigger than me.
i agree with the previous comments about protecting your safety and the courses of action but you have to take some of the responsibility for your own actions:

confessing to him what you do after admitting he's always been pushy and persistent. probably not a wise idea.

still, letting the police know what's up is probably a good idea.

reality check

Report it, with ALL the details but in my experience, LE don't take text messages very seriously as they can't prove the sender (emails as well.) If you don't have his address, get it & include it in the report. Hopefully he doesn't have yours. Block his number or get a new one and avoid your mutual friends. On the plus side, he sounds like a big talk no action kind of asshole.

Welcome to the fun world of sp'ing!

ps. If you know a police officer talk with them first otherwise, imo, you will be treated with prejudice.

pps. restraining order? um ya like that'll happen

thanks guys. i called a friend of mine and he somehow subtly let the guy know he knew what was up. I also told him blackmail is a criminal offense and as he works for the canadian army i'm sure he won't want anything to ruin his career.

Hopefully he'll lose my number and continue on his sad life.

That's very important information. Members of the Canadian Forces are subject to the National Defense Act. It's very streamlined. Just report him to his Commanding Officer.

http://www.forces.gc.ca/jag/office/military_law/default_e.asp

http://www.forces.gc.ca/jag/military_justice/default_e.asp

For links to the various Military Units
http://www.army.gc.ca/lfwa/formations_units.htm

People that conduct themselves as he has are not needed in Canada's Military. He needs to be reported and removed.
The military come under what is called QROs Queens regulations and orders. In military law they can be charged with anything but murder, manslaughter and what was rape which is done by civilian court. All other charges are up to military police. They can and have gone to civilian jails and removed military persons to take back to base, a few times having to use gentle persuasion to do so

He is not taking this serious and is still threatening me. I called the EPS and the cop pretty much laughed at me. He said "Haha..u should of doubled ur price!" and cracks like that. After he got a little serious and gave me the number for the National Defense.

They don't think they can do much for me either because I don't know his FULL name or his address or what unit he works for, or if I know 100% with proof he works there. Especially if he's in the Reserve, it will be hard for them to track him down.

So I'm at a loss of what to do and his latest text was "What, you don't even want my money? LOL" so he's pretty much mocking me.

If he is texting, *57 will give the police or Military Police his phone number. You can't get the account info, they can.

Since the Civilian Police have a lot more work to do, they tend to not respond until there is actual injury. The Military Police operate under different rules. I grew up on various Military Bases, the response was always quick and effective. The person goes up in front of their immediate commander who decides if he/she can handle it or if the person should be separated from the military, if so, the person goes in front of the Base Commander.
It all depends on what rank you are. If you are a not a non com or what they call a private in US. In Canada its airman, sapper, trooper etc. depending on what corp you are in. They can be made to accept commander sentence. Anyone corporal and above can demand a court martial. If you can get a picture of guy and take it to MP I know they will find him. Better yet, get his prints on a glass. If he is really in the regular forces and not BS you, they will take this very serious. His prints will ID him within a couple of days. If the MP give you any hassle, tell them you want to talk to someone in CID, that is the criminal investigation division. And don't talk to beat cops, phone sex crimes and demand some action or you will phone your member of parliment to find out why you are being ignored. Best of luck

Unfortunately that's probably about all you can do. But if I ever got the response you did from the cops I'd immediately be asking to speak to his supervisor, and if need be I'd threaten to contact the media.

This type of response is completely unacceptable given the history of abuse, and murders that have taken place over the years. This guys behaviour is potentially a precursor to him causing harm to you or others in your particular occupation.

Cops need to be recorded sometimes. I'm sure a supervisor would love to hear this one before the Edmonton Sun picks it up.

Just out of curiousity how would proving text messaging be any different than proving phone calls? Hell half the tv shows I watch, many of them real crime shows (ie cold cases etc), prove criminals conspired with each other and often convict based on phone call records. How would this be any different?

Note they always state that a call was placed, and that since its your phone or mobile phone that its registered to, it is most likely the case where you placed the call. However its circumstantial evidence that can be tossed out if the defense can apply enough doubt that the person who owns the phone actually used it at that time.

Well that's the same as phone records and they are used in court all the time, especially if they can be collaborated. Point being what if he's doing this to a couple of other woman, would that establish a pattern? or what if he wrote this in front of someone (ie a friend), or he placed several other calls before and after to friends and family and this can be verified. So having a text message from a someone with the time of the call and the number who called is not just worthless information.

Why don't you just say yes but tell him you are charging $600/hr and you will need his driver's licence and 2 reference from other SPs. If he still wants to go thru with it, tell him about all sorts of restrictions that you have, basically giving him the impression that he has to warp himself in a giant condom in order to touch any part of you. And if he still wants to go thru with it, tell him you have since retired.

Gentlemen Prefer Blondes
Hi Moi,

I was blackmailed a few months ago, when I didn't know anyone in Vancouver at all, had no support, and was not posting on the boards. I was not able to go to LE, as I was dating a member of the LE who was unaware of my double life!! It was a very stressful time, but it blew over.

I gave in to his demand (it wasn't sex), as I was very worried and didn't want any sort of heat on me. I got lucky.. as he left me alone after that.
Looking back, I should've called his bluff, and told him to piss off. My double life is such that no one would ever guess, as my career is the exact opposite of my on-the-side secondary income! Hopefully, you have something like this too.
Something tells me that your guy would not lhave left you alone if you caved. He would not have respected restrictions.. and i'm certain would not have paid the full donation, if at all.

Now that it has all come to a head, and it out.. you will find out who your true friends are. The people that know you and are fond of you, will either not believe him, or be accepting. You have a very strong case for suggesting he has a case of sour grapes.
By hiding away from your friends, or people he has told, will only suggest guilt on your part. Be open about it, and tell everyone you are having stalker issues with this guy... and wait to see if they have heard about it first, before mentioning the SP accusations.

Good luck with it, "this too shall pass".
