So there are protests today across Canada against Bill C-51, but there have been absolutely no protests against Bill C-36. It's really ironic: C-51 targets the real threat though the ways it is done may be excessive. On the other hand C-36 targets knowingly innocent people, involved in perfectly normal and healthy activities, who have never been targeted in the history of Canada.
Well, Canadians, if you've swallowed C-36 quietly, C-51 isn't really a big deal: it just provides additional possibilities for innocent people to end up in jail. If you liked one, you should like the other - make some sense at least!
