Betting on NHL Games

I don't bet on hockey because I'm not as knowledgeable as (apparently) some of you guys, but now that you have informed me the games are fixed I figure it would be a good way to make money.

So, if those in the know could let me know which teams are going to win ahead of time I'd be very grateful.

If you can't bet on the games yourself say, because your name is Roberto Luongo or something I'd be happy to do it for you and share the winnings 60/40.

Where are you getting this information from (games being fixed)?

Used to play a lot of Sports Action when it first came out.
The payouts were more generous back then.
Used to be a good team would pay 1.65 or something. Now it's like 1.4
I still have a ticket from the early 90s where the pay out was over $100,000.
I bet 6 games total with 4 ties. Damn near won the thing too. Missed one of my ties by 1 goal in the 3rd period.
They used to publish the odds for 3 days or more. Then if a star player goes down, you can bet before the game starts.

Now I bet mainly for fun. Fantasy hockey and hockey pools are great.
Makes all the games that more interesting.

The experts on PERB exposed the fact NHL games are thrown to increase revenue.

Personally, that was a revelation and I think something should be done.

Yes I can see the officiating giving some favouritism towards the larger American market teams.
That being said, the Canucks throwing games makes no sense.

You`ll take in more at the gate the more rounds you play. Eliminating the Hawks means another two to four
Round 2 games, which are more valuable at the gate than Round 1 games.
