I am gonna be simple but I truly believe this. Best purchase ever is my car, the freedom of traveling anywhere that it gives me is amazing. I love driving on highways and big road trips so having access to my own vehicle is amazing
I've had a car since I was 17. I've tried really hard to give up on cars and thought about using rideshares and uber and public transit but... I just love driving too much. I know it's terrible for the environment, and I'm single passenger, and yada yada but can't beat those night drives at 3am while the city sleeps... I only wish we had a better deli culture in Vancouver.

Also, ride share users are animals. They treat a shared resource like their personal storage locker and waste bin...

Bauer 2000 hockey skates, best memories of life in my 20s going to mid week afternoon skates at 3p. At 330p the high school kids showed up, even more fun. No smartphones, tik tok, just easier carefree times.

A washlet/bidet/ass cleaning toilet seat.

First tried one out in Korea and instantly wanted to have one. Splurged on the deluxe with warmed seat, warmed water, warm air dryer- all adjustable. I don't even like rim jobs or anal stuff (I once had a mild argument with Nancy to not rim me!) but I love this purchase. Every use is enjoyable.

Now I feel cheated if I have to shit anywhere else.

I am staying in an Airbnb in Phoenix that has this item and it really is a nice experience.

Truer words never spoken. Certain Europeans, Japanese and Koreans must think they’ve gone back to the dark ages when they visit North America, with their inhabitants smearing their doo-doo everywhere with TP. LOL

I bought an iPod when I was in university. I took it everywhere (trips, gym, walks, etc). I had it for years.

although I have a lot that I consider great purchases, but today it dawned on me as I am pressure washing my BBQ I had bought from Costco 20 years ago, it's a Stainless Kirkland I paid $1400 for it and have now rebuilt it twice and every year I clean it back up to its like new condition. It was money well spent as before that I was going through a 400 dollar BBQ every couple years till they deteriorated. this year it is costing me $26 in heavy duty cleaners and $49, for complete set of Burners, heat deflectors and grills off Amazon...Wait maybe Amazon account could be also a best purchase. ha ha ha

Time- I bought time.

about a year ago I realized I need to change some thing in life. So I was bought out at work and then I used that freedom to buy time to enjoy my life.
I’m less stressed, in better health. Experience life and new things everyday and create new adventures.

It’s not an easy thing to do but it was so worth it.
