Nice light and fun idea for a thread:

I would say kizik step in shoes drastically changed the quality of my life. I wouldn’t want to buy any other kind anymore. No more bending over to put on my shoes. They work just as advertised. I don’t work for Kizik and I’m not their white knight, I’m just a very happy customer ( kind of reminds me of my favourite Sp)

1998 bought the first ever mp3 player, the EigerLabs EigerMan F20. Had 32MB internal memory and took an additional 32MB in a SmartCard. Parallel port interface, grim as fuck to get songs on it but that puppy could hold 2 albums ripped at 64kbs!! Sound was outstanding too. Napster days so this combo brought all my old music back and reignited the passion!!

Parallel port interface.... back in those days, when you wanted something done, you had to work for it.

probably the only option I ever made money on. $600 on contracts for moderna turned into $10,000 within 2 weeks. Was $20,000 for a spit second and then went to $10,000 in time for my fumble fingers to click "sell"
Either that or my 95 Corolla.

Just got back into vinyl, lost all my lps in my last relationship. 14 years later, bought a used Technics stereo system, the turn table was pooched so purchased a new one and went shopping for used lps in the local second hand shops and found many treasures! Put my new system in my shop and the magic came back.,my next purchase will be a vintage 70s Sansui tube amp,I've seen many on sale.

Education. My PhD led to a career in teaching and research that fueled a meaningful journey and opportunities for travel and engagement with scholars and students from across the world.

Back in my early days, a guitar then Bass guitar. Sadly, went nowhere in that category. After that....investment stocks and real estate. Those 2 changed my life for the much better. Can't place a value on that. 😎
