Sunday is approaching fast and I am looking for suggestions on where to watch the Grey Cup .....I usually host a Grey Cup party but this year I want to go out and feel the energy of other CFL fans...

My girlfriend mistressfreyja was kind enough to accompany me to a couple pubs in Lower Lonsdale to watch the Western Finals...I was surprised ....one did not even have the game on NFL and baseball :( we had a beverage and moved to the next pub ...better atmosphere as they had the game on and there was a lovely older couple watching the game as Eminem would say we had a little controversy going me being a Rider Fan and all which made it fun and we had a kick ass server so that turned out alright ...

So long story short where would you go ...the Shark Club is the only place I can think of being that I don't really go out much...lol...

Thanks and GO RIDERS GO !!!!

Vanessa, I just fell in love with you. I've been a Rider fan for nearly 60 years now. GO RIDERS.

P.S. I bleed green.

Football takes on average about 3 hours to complete and has about 12 minutes of actual ball in play action (The average football game contains about 120 actual plays, which take an average of six seconds each. That's 720 seconds of play, or 12 minutes). That means that only 5% of the game is action and 95% of the game is the borefest of standing around, scratching and slapping butts, getting off and on the field and endless commericals for viagra and cialis. You spend 5 seconds watching action by which I mean fat guys in pads and lycra tights pushing each other, then minutes of complete boredom followed after.

The only people who would even dream of objecting to this interpretation of this most boring of sports are Americans, the same way only the Japanese will object to the notion of Sumo Wrestling being boring. But whether its American football or Sumo wrestling, they are both played by fatasses and both are incredibly boring and look incredibly gay, hence will never become popular outside their nations of origin.
Kinda like you, the highlighted words in your post may reflect deep feelings of insecurity and the need for real man love (not that there is anything wrong with that) that you so desperately desire, but because of you residing in your mom's basement with your older brother you have to shamefully resort to stuffing these feelings, thus flogging yourself nightly with wet noodles.

Stop being a killjoy, go make some friends.

Silver Surfer I had an instant vision which included my cock sucking chair a beer and me nestled ..ohhh sorry ..lol... Hmmm perhaps an ULTIMATE Football package might be in order ;)

I think it is going to be a really good game ..heck after last years tragic turn of events :(..A good example on how the game can change that's what makes it so exciting.!!!

I do predict the Eskimos making a grand appearance in the Grey Cup in the next 2-3 years ....their team is going to really pull together

Old Pooner you can not get better than a Rider fan ..I was in Toronto same hotel by fluke when they won the Grey Cup and honestly it was a sea of green..Mr.Joesph bringing in the Grey Cup....I have some pretty awesome pics but of course I cant post them on here and no they are not dirty ...lol.....
I have been in Regina for several games and for the Western Finals and holy smokes the whole city goes green ...I smiled walking through the food court and places like MMMm muffins have Rider cupcakes everybody just ooozes football and team spirit and of course I REALLY like the Rider wine ;)

myselftheother thanks for the suggestion I have been there before for a bite to eat I never knew it was a sports bar...

Go RIDERS GO!!!

On the North Shore, three great sports bars IMO - the Hurricane Grill (Marine Drive), the Seymour (in the Holiday Inn by Second Narrows Bridge) and Taylor's Crossing (right next to the Hurricane on Marine Drive).

Go Als
