Which kind?

Nano? Video?
Shuffle?
I bought my Video 30G at A&B sound on SW Marnie drive. That was when they first came out. $379.00

They are all the same price everywhere you look.

Maybe try Ebay for a cheaper one, but you will have to wait for it.
I wanted mine right away, I had the cash too.

Refurbished Ipods

Check out Apple's site in Canada. They periodically offer refurbished Ipod's all of the time for a reasonable price. I received one and it was like new. All of the accessories are new as well. Good luck . M.

With all the BS I've heard about ipods you may wanna re-think the hype.

1) can't transfer songs from ipod back to PC (easily)

2) plugging your ipod into someone elses comp can *sometimes* make all your music go poof!!!

3) shitty battery life

4) they tend to have lockup problems.

Needless to say just as many people will have no probs as some will claim the whole fukkin ipod experience was a nightmare.

The #1 pro to owning an ipod. Is you can hook up to a MAC computer and thanks to how the mac installs software just drag and drop the folder to your ipod, and BAM!!!! you have the program. ;)

There have been lots of issues with iPod batteries. You are much better off buying another brand with batteries you can replace yourself. Here is some info to support my comment:

How about Creative Zen M

http://www.anythingbutipod.com/archives/2006/01/creative-zen-vision-m-review.php

Here is the one I am thinking myself. I heard all the negative about Ipod too.

Especially the battery issue. Unfortunatly, creative zen M is the same regarding the battery it too is build in. I email creative and they informed me I have to send it back for battery replacement. If I want a replaceable one then go to their creative zen collection.

But is all true with Ipod battery they charge an arm and a leg for the replacement most end up buying another ipod since not many alternative but now this zen m is a good alternative to ipod.

Good Luck

Michel
