Best photo app to add text/make collages

I know there are thousands of them out there, but if I start browsing, I am going to spend the whole day in App land Buying 30 unrelated apps I didn’t know I needed.

I am looking for an easy to use app that will allow me to add text to photos, In a variety of sizes and colours, in the spots I want to add it. An ability to crop the photos and create collages along with text would be ideal.

I don’t require filters or any other type of retouching ability. And I am more than happy to pay for the app.

Any suggestions greatly appreciated!

If you have a laptop/desktop computer, get irfanview. Get dropbox to share the photos with your phone.

On the menu, select Edit--->insert text.

Click anywhere on the image to determine placement. Edit your text in the pop up window.

Drag a box over the image for the crop you want, then selec Edit --->crop selection to crop the image.

I use Photoshop for my business, but lots of folks are using the free online system CANVA (www.canva.com) to create images for Instagram, Facebook covers, Linkedin banners, etc.

Not an app, but will do everything mentioned and is widely used; try Powerpoint.

I too use Photoshop daily but for those who want a free solution another option is GIMP.

I too Use Photoshop. Been using it since 89/90... For me The data tablet is a must with it. I would be happy to sit down with you and work on your photos for you with your guidance.
